Library Volunteer

Reporting to the Collections Manager, the Library Volunteer will assist the Collections and Research Department in organizing and cataloging materials in the Center library.

Center staff will instruct the volunteer on archival procedures, computer cataloging, storage requirements, and preventative conservation.

General Responsibilities

  • Assist the Department in organizing and cataloging Center documents.
  • Perform data entry of documents into catalog program.

Qualifications

  • Ability to handle multiple functions.
  • Ability to perform administrative operations as needed for position.
  • Experience using computers a plus.
  • Reliability, enthusiastic personality, honesty, and friendliness are importance.
