Adolfo (Ad) Muniz, Collections Manager (Ph.D. 2007, University of California, San Diego) is an archaeologist and active researcher. He is an Adjunct Professor in the Anthropology Department at CSU San Marcos. He joined the San Diego Archaeological Center in 2010. Muniz has had a career as a field archaeologist working in California, the American Southwest, Southern Jordan, and India. His interests include anthropological archaeology, environmental archaeology, zooarchaeology, ethnoarchaeology and the application of digital methods in archaeology.
Suzanne Moramarco, Lead Collections Technician and Library Specialist has over seven years of experience curating collections for the Center and supervising volunteers and interns in the Center Library. She received her B.A. in Anthropology from Scripps College, Claremont, CA. After a career in Graphic Design and employment in the Early Childhood Development field, Suzanne entered the Library Technology Program at Palomar College. In earning her Certificate as a Library Technology Assistant, she completed a Library internship at the Center. She has also obtained a Geographical Information Systems Certificate of Proficiency, from Palomar College.
