The San Dieguito River Valley Conservancy, in collaboration with the San Diego Archaeological Center, is excited to offer a new series encompassing the Early History of the Western End of San Dieguito River Valley.

Curator James W. Nelson, and editors Richard Schwartzlose and Richard Moore, worked tirelessly in compiling an extensive historical record of the SDRV from a time period of 11,000 YBP (Years Before Present) to the middle of the Nineteenth Century.  Participants will travel through time, learning about the ancient plant and animal species, early Native American culture, and the Spanish Colonial Period.

The series spans four days, and including two hikes and two informational presentations. Light refreshments will be provided on presentation dates.
