New Discoveries in the American Paleolithic

The Anza Borrego Foundation, California State Parks, and sponsors will host New Discoveries in the American Paleolithic: The Pre-16,000BP Archaeological Record. The conference will present diverse sites and types of evidence from throughout the Americas that demonstrate the presence of a wide-spread human occupation much earlier than was previously recognized. The conference will focus on new sites and discoveries older than 16,000 BP as well as innovative methodological advances in dating.

Thursday evening at 5pm, there will be a meet & greet and poster session at the UCI Research Center.  Oral presentations and discussions will be held on Friday and Saturday at the Borrego Springs Performing Arts Center.  Space is limited; please register as soon as possible.
